MORE IMPROVEMENTS
July has been another month of major change and expansion (hopefully improvement too) in the Cancel Nations Stamp Company website at www.cancelnations.com/cnations
PACKETS: I have expanded the listing of country packets in the Middle East to include Abu Dhabi, Aden, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and many others.
UNITED STATES GALLERY: The listing of United States materials is now complete. From the United States Gallery you will find an extensive listings of commemorative year sets (both MNH and used), se-tenets and souvenir sheets, popular sets, the early Exposition Issues, airmail and back-of-the-book materials, and the 19th Century classics. If you collect United States, check it out.
TOPICAL COLLECTORS: The newest undertaking is an expansion of the topical set offerings for those of you who collect by theme. Current topics supported are paintings, religion, archeology, sports, railroads, and floral. All of the stamps are with photos, so check them out
ITALY - JAPAN - RUSSIA: My large lot purchasing at auctions brings me opportunities to set up website pages with sufficient material to be of interest to collectors by country. At present I have pages set up with interesting and very low priced materials from Italy, Japan, and Russia. If these are countries that are of interest to you, pay a visit. You can find them via the home page
AUCTIONS: At present there are only a few items on auction, but I have recently acquired a couple of large lots at auction (US Classics and Columbians), so there soon will be some great opportunities to build your collection. I will send a short notice about the lots when I have them catalogued.
MONTHLY PACKET SPECIALS: Every month I have a few packets that I can make available on a first come/first served basis. These generally come from the large lots that I purchase, and are therefore not your usual packet materials.
For example, I have in stock about a dozen packets of 100 all-different Japanese that includes several Imperial Post Issues of the 19th Century. At $3.50, plus the per order postage and handling charge, this is an exceptional buy.
BOOKSTORE: Have you visited the Philatelic Bookstore? I think that it is the best site on the web for finding your stamp collecting books and catalogue.
The newest Scott 2000 Catalogue for counties J-O is now available.
